What GWM actually is
Great Wall Motor is a Chinese vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Baoding, Hebei, and one of the country's largest listed automakers. Rather than selling under one badge, it operates separate marques: Haval for family SUVs, Tank for body-on-frame off-roaders, WEY for its upmarket line, ORA for battery-electric cars, and Poer/Cannon for pickups.
Why the sub-brand matters when you buy
A Tank 300 and a Haval H6 are different platforms with different duty outcomes, so the marque is the first thing to fix before a quote. A used GWM sourced in China is left-hand drive; some destinations require right-hand drive, in which case a compliant unit has to be sourced on request rather than taken from stock.
