First, the steering question
Kenya requires right-hand drive. Our stock is left-hand drive (RHD applies to this market), so a compliant passenger unit cannot come from current inventory — it has to be sourced on request. We confirm RHD availability before anything is agreed.
Second, the age line
Used imports are bounded by an age rule (Kenya enforces an 8-year maximum age rule for used-vehicle imports, measured from year of first registration — vehicles older than 8 years cannot be cleared.). Model year is therefore the first thing to fix, before colour or trim.
Third, PVoC then Mombasa
A PVoC certificate of conformity is part of entry, and Mombasa is the port. On arrival KRA assesses 25% duty plus excise by engine size and 16% VAT.
