Pakistan: the tariff is only half the story
Duty is high, but eligibility comes first
Pakistan applies a high 50% duty on imported vehicles plus 18%-level indirect tax, and it is right-hand drive. Before the tariff matters at all, the buyer has to satisfy an eligibility route (a transfer-of-residence or similar scheme), which is why we ask about the buyer's status before quoting a number.
What we can prepare on the China side
We prepare the export document set and arrange shipping; the eligibility paperwork is a Pakistan-side process handled by the importer.

- What duty and taxes apply on import into Pakistan?
- Pakistan offers a reduced customs duty band (around 10%) for fully electric vehicles under its national EV policy, versus much higher effective rates on combustion and used vehicles; 18% general sales tax (VAT-equivalent) applies on customs value plus duty. Rates shown are indicative only based on publicly available general schedules — always confirm current duty, VAT and any EV incentives with a licensed customs broker in-country before ordering.
